Nature and Determinants of Sexting – 2026 Report

For the University of Zadar (UNIZD), we worked on the fifth report published in 2026 as part of the research project “Nature and Determinants of Sexting Among Adolescents and Young Adults: A Cross-Cultural Study (SextYouth)”.
The report, titled “Biopsychological Correlates of Sexting Among Adolescents and Young Adults: The Role of Testosterone, Emotion Regulation and Executive Functions,” required publication layout and cover design.
Our focus was on giving complex scientific content a clear, structured and visually consistent format appropriate for an academic research publication.
The layout was developed with particular attention to readability, page flow and information hierarchy. Typography, spacing and the relationship between text and white space were handled consistently throughout the report, helping readers navigate the content while maintaining a professional academic appearance.

Cover Design
For the cover, we developed a minimalist visual concept connecting digital communication with the psychological and biopsychological themes explored in the research.
A dark, restrained background establishes a serious and contemporary tone, while a linear illustration in a warm contrasting color provides a clear visual focal point.
The central motif combines two profiles with the outline of a smartphone and a message bubble. This brings together interpersonal communication, digital interaction and emotional exchange.
The design was deliberately kept minimal, avoiding unnecessary detail while maintaining the professional character of a scientific report. Linear graphics, a dark color palette and carefully structured typography create a distinctive cover that communicates the subject clearly and remains consistent with the broader visual identity of the report series.
